I am observing a seminar facilitated by an early career university lecturer. She presents her slides then sets questions for the students to discuss in small groups. Next, she leads a discussion on the questions. Sometimes I struggle to hear what is being said by the lecturer and students as there is another voice competing for my attention. This voice is not human \u2013 it is the heater just behind my chair.<\/p>\n\n\n
